I'm still working on putting together notes for Thomas. I've become obsessed with note taking so I will hand him what probably resembles the notebook of a serial killer ("That's good, shows dedication!") unfortunately,I'll go for a few days filled with ideas and jot them all down and other days my collar bone pain is too much to handle. But I've got something big planned out for a companion piece to Giallo Terrore. I'll reveal more in my next couple of posts. So, in the mean time, I've already laid down the foundation track and am going to add more tonight as well as on my vacation this weekend. It will be nice to get away from my current environment, probably more inspiring...I hope, at least.
So the initial pressing will be on CD-R (because you're just going to rip it anyway, fuck all these "You need your CD to be pressed at a plant on real CD" elitist shit...DIY TIL YOU FUCKING O.D. AND DIE! ) and it looks like we're going to sell the first 150 copies at $5 a piece, next 200 priced at $6, and any more pressings after that will be $7. Remember that the CD will contain artwork so you will get your moneys worth. That is what is most important to us. We are in talks of doing a gate fold vinyl release, but may just do a double LP with lots of insert artwork included but all in single "unfold" traditional vinyl cardboard sleeve. It was not the original idea, but it looks like we'd be able to sell them A LOT cheaper and like I said before, we want people to get the most quality for the best price. It would be nice to break even, and would be even nicer to make a buck on each, you know? Get rewarded financially for your work, but it's far from a priority and we are veryhttp://www.blogger.com/img/blank.gif lucky to have the support of Final Girl Recordings behind us! As always, I will keep everyone updated as I find out more information.
I am also putting together a list of contributors (some rather unlikely ones at that) that I would like to add to G.T. Hopefully, all will be on board. also, I will upload a 20 min preview of a very basic version of an excerpt from G.T. that may or may not include Tommy's tracks depending on how much time he has to work on them at the moment. But, we definitely need an audio representation on here since most people stopped going to our old Myspace and we are hard at work looking for shows. Hopefully, I won't have much collar bone pain and I can work a lot more. Cheers to everyone I run into who asks about ACIDCOP! You make me remember that there are people who are fans of us and generally enjoy what we do. Thank You, everyone. You help keep us alive. Talk to ya soon or see you at the next show! - Rob
